Stock Market Today Thursday 15 May 2025 | Today, Thursday, the market had a sluggish start on Nifty’s weekly expiry. Following this, the Sensex and Nifty appeared to slip into the red. At the opening, the Sensex was up 57 points, around 81,388.
Meanwhile, Nifty was up 15 points at the level of 24,682. The Bank Nifty saw a rise of 77 points and was trading at the level of 54,878. The Nifty Midcap Index 100 was up 196 points at the level of 56,333.
However, after that the market slipped into the red. Nifty had fallen to a low of 24,584. Meanwhile, Sensex had reached a low of 81,044. The biggest weakness was seen in indices such as Financial Services, Pharma, Private Bank, and Realty. On Nifty, JSW Steel, Hero MotoCorp, Eicher Motors, Tata Motors, and Bajaj Auto were contributing to the declines. Power Grid, ONGC, Kotak Bank, Dr Reddy, and SBI Life saw the most significant drops.
